Catechism is education in the faith of children, youth and adults which includes the teaching of Christian doctrine, impacted in an organic and systemic way, with a view of initiating the hearers into the fullness of Christian life. it is the mission and task entrusted to the church by the lord , to safeguard and impart faith.
Our children who are growing up in diverse cultures are exposed to very different cultures. It becomes very important for us to empower them spiritually so that they grow in good Christian faith and understand the culture and values of Syro-Malabar Church.
In Coventry, we are blessed that many lay leaders and priests have taken initiative to set up catechists to even before the establishment of Eparchy on 2016. St Joseph mission Coventry runs catechism classes since September 2009. St Joseph Mission is distributed in twelve standards. Currently we have 29 catechists and around 250 children. We value our children to be formed properly in our faith and tradition.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
You have followed God's light and the way of the Gospel now lies before you.
For me, prayer is a surge of the heart; it is a simple look turned toward heaven, it is a cry of recognition and of love, embracing both trial and joy.
