Family is the cradle of culture and values in the society. The young generation learns and acquires the good habits from their families. It is the place where faith and morals are nurtured and fostered. Jesus teaches us that we should be the light in the world (Matthew 5:14). The domestic church, as the second Vatican Council addresses the family, is the basis of the mission and the Church. When united we express our love and sharing, we represent the sign and presence of Christ in the world today. Towards this aim our Eparchy gives more importance to the family units (Kudumbakoottayma). We meet together in our family units once in every month toh foster the spiritual bond through prayer and sharing.
