More about our Mission
We are Syro-Malabar migrants from Kerala, a state in southern India. Our community began establishing itself here primarily through the British Government's opening of the healthcare sector to foreign nurses. Pioneers from our community arrived and paved the way for others, leading to a significant presence in various professional fields such as IT, medicine, and other prominent sectors, thus integrating into the local community life.
Initially, the Syro-Malabar Synodal Commissions for Migrants took the initiative to send priests to serve our community. In collaboration with the Archdiocese of Birmingham, the Syro-Malabar liturgy was established according to the norms of the Code of Canons of the Eastern Churches (CCEO). As a result, 14 mass centres were set up in the Archdiocese of Birmingham, with Coventry being one of the prominent ones.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
You have followed God's light and the way of the Gospel now lies before you.
For me, prayer is a surge of the heart; it is a simple look turned toward heaven, it is a cry of recognition and of love, embracing both trial and joy.
